8th Grade End Of The Year Events

Greetings 8th Grade Families,

The countdown is officially on! As we approach the final months of the school year, there is an exciting energy in the 8th-grade hallway. It has been an absolute joy watching these students grow from nervous sixth graders into confident young adults. While their time at WCS is drawing to a close, we are beyond excited to see the incredible things they will accomplish in high school.

• May 11: JHS Incoming Freshman Orientation Field Trip
• May 15: 8th Grade Dance: @ WCS (7:00) 
• May 18: 8th Grade Recognition Night @ JHS (7:00)
• May 21: 8th Grade Picnic @ WCS
• May 20:  8th Grade Six Flags Trip

We are so proud of our 8th graders and can't wait to see the amazing things they’ll do next year. Let’s make these final weeks the best ones yet!

During the 8th Grade Recognition Night at Jacobs High School on Monday, May 20th, JHS Clubs and Activities will once again be hosting a flower fundraiser where you can purchase bouquets and other items to celebrate your student’s big night.
