Elementary Winter Weather and Outdoor Recess

Winter Weather and Outdoor Recess We monitor national weather service reports daily to decide if recess will be indoors or outdoors. We make every effort to get students outside as long as the "feels like" temperature is 10 degrees or above. Please ensure students arrive to school dressed for the weather. To play in the snow, in addition to their coats, students must wear: Boots, snow pants, and gloves/mittens. Students without these items will still go outside but will be limited to the blacktop areas to keep them dry. Thank you for your help!
