MS Parent/Guardian Drop Off Process

Greetings WCS Families,

I am writing to share an important safety reminder. Earlier today, the Algonquin Police Department contacted the school with concerns about our middle school morning drop-off procedures. APD reported observing vehicles dropping students off on Sleepy Hollow Road rather than using the designated drop-off line. While I understand that the drop-off line can sometimes be time-consuming or stressful, these procedures are in place to ensure the safety of our students.

Moving forward, any vehicle dropping students off on Sleepy Hollow Road may be issued a citation for stopping in a no-parking zone. Please know that WCS will continue to do our part to keep the drop-off line moving efficiently and safely for all families. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping all students safe during arrival.
