Welcome Back Reminders - WCS Middle Schoo

Dear Westfield Middle School Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are excited to welcome our students to Westfield Middle School for the first day of school on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

The school day officially begins at 8:55 a.m. Students may enter the building beginning at 8:45 a.m. Upon arrival, students should go to their lockers, gather what they need for the day, and then head to their Advisory.

If a student needs another copy of their schedule, additional schedules will be available in Advisory.

Students will spend the first two hours of the school day in advisory learning about the new electronics policy, receiving their Yondr pouches and going over several presentations related to advisory programming for the school year, school safety and school expectations.

As a reminder, please anticipate afternoon bus delays of approximately 30 minutes during the first week of school. These delays allow our staff extra time at each campus to ensure every student boards the correct bus safely. Because delays are expected across all routes this week, daily late notifications will not be sent. Beginning the second week of school, you will receive a delay alert anytime your child's bus runs more than 10 minutes behind schedule.
